There is a growing collection of basic lessons, quizzes and puzzles on these pages. Learn the Hungarian alphabet and greetings with sounds, play hangman or other puzzles, check youself with quizzes and tests. I know Hungarian is a hard language, so I try to put some fun stuff here, because I don't want you to give up. Would you like more practice? Send e-mail for supplementary excercises. Do you have questions? Post them to the message board, or ask for a tutoring appointment. Also there are lots of sound files here especially for the first lessons.

There are four more reference pages that can help you throughout your study. The first link is my page with an important, basic rule that is a unique specification of the Hungarian language. The second is a good online dictionary.
The third and fourth link gives you the chance to download a good free dictionary or use as an app. I would love to hear about your experience using them! I do not recommend the google translator for more than a word or expression. The translator program just can't follow the unique grammar of the Hungarian language. It gives you garbage - no other way to say it.
